Michelle & Brian - Santa Ynez, California

Michelle and Brian had originally planned for an engagement session in the hills of Santa Ynez, but when Mother Nature brought a weekend full of dark clouds and rain to Southern California, we had to quickly come up with an alternative game plan.

Sunstone Winery, beautiful both inside and out, created pure romance out of the storm, and Michelle and Brian were soaking up (by the end of the day, quite literally!) the adventure.

Who says you can’t have fun in the rain?

Nassau, Bahamas

When I was young, my dad traveled to far-off destinations like Brazil, Norway and Romania for business. He would always bring home something from his journey: amazing snapshots for me to look through, unusual coins that I began to keep in a jar, and tiny treasures that I’ve kept all these years later. A sweet reminder that he was thinking of his daughter while halfway around the world.

And thus, my thirst for travel and adventure began.

Every year I try to visit at least one new destination just for myself. While my job gives me the opportunity to explore locales all over the world - and I love it that way - it’s refreshing and inspiring to take a trip just for… fun.

Turquoise waters, days spent out on the boat, and a James Bond feel to it all? Our week at The Ocean Club Four Seasons was this year’s perfect getaway. With so many islands to choose from, it’s hard to pick where we’ll sail off to next. Any ideas?
