An English Garden-Inspired Editorial at Kestrel Park
Santa Ynez, California
Envisioning a couple who wanted to combine the tradition and sophistication of an English wedding with the laid-back nature of a celebration in California's wine country, we chose the beautiful Kestrel Park to serve as the story’s backdrop.
"Our bride and groom met while she was studying abroad. So when it came to a destination, they were searching for a location that encompassed old-world charm, but still embodied that classic California look with plenty of golden sun and greenery. Jessica of Ellamah created floral arrangements that were full of roses, blueberries, dogwood and peonies to mirror the beautiful gardens at the estate. These lush and fragrant blooms were also a nod to the groom's home town in the English countryside. Wanting to keep this celebration as intimate as possible, only a few close friends were invited to witness. The 6-person reception table was set in Kestrel Park’s "Sycamore Lane" and was decorated with garden floral arrangements, candles, and menus with the bride & groom's custom crest. The china was the groom's parents, brought all the way from England, and the bride chose her favourite wines to accompany the three-course meal."
Every detail was beautifully curated and intentionally thought out to represent the style and character of our bride and groom
