Merek & Matthew - Lake Como, Italy
Situated in the mountains of Northern Italy, near the border of Switzerland, lies a picturesque lake infused with charm and history. Lake Como is the epitome of Italian elegance and a personal favorite of mine for destination weddings.
Merek said, “After getting engaged during a romantic getaway, I immediately knew I wanted to replicate that intimate experience for our wedding and elope. We discussed a honeymoon abroad and from there, worked backwards to plan our elopement in beautiful Lake Como, followed by a dream honeymoon throughout Italy.”
The ceremony was held in the gardens of Villa Carlotta, a historic estate dating back to 1745, followed by a champagne toast at Grand Hotel Tremezzo. It was a fairytale celebration rooted in love and adventure.
